Honey Boo Boo breaks down in tears as she says she hates being compared to Mama June

Honey Boo Boo became emotional after saying that she doesn't like being compared to her mother Mama June in a preview clip for the latest episode of their reality TV show.

The pair and some of their extended family - who rose to fame on TLC's Toddlers & Tiaras - were shown seeking therapy in a teaser for this week's episode of Mama June: Family Crisis.

They are understood to attend a family therapy weekend, fronted by life coach Dr Ish Major, in the latest episode of the TLC show, which is due to be released on Friday.

A preview, which featured two clips from the episode, was shared on Instagram earlier this week by June 'Mama June' Shannon, 43, and also featured three of her children.

Mama June was seen in one of the clips alongside her daughters Jessica 'Chubbs' Shannon, 26, Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efird, 23, and Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson, 17.

The clip showed them taking part in what appears to be a therapy session where they share their issues and then take things out on a punching bag by swinging a baseball bat at it.

Alana was seen sharing her thoughts in the clip, with her heard saying to Dr. Ish about some of her family: "I'm mad that these three right here think that I act like my mama".

The reality TV star was then seen swinging a bat at the punching bag a few times, before being asked about her feelings. Dr Ish asked: "What makes you so mad about that?"

Alana responded: "Because I don't feel like I am."

She subsequently became emotional and seen with tears in her eyes, as she said people think it of her because she won't drive.

Alana told her family: "Honestly, I'm scared to drive. I'm scared that something may happen and I may get in a wreck and I may not be here anymore. Like that really scares me."

Mama June's post also included another teaser clip from the episode, which showed Dr Ish using a rotting apple as an example of issues going unnoticed beneath the surface.

Dr Ish showed the family an apple that looked "pretty good" on the outside, but then sliced it open to reveal signs of rotting on the inside, before sharing his thoughts about it.

He said: "That's what the hurt looks like on the inside. That's what the resentment looks like inside. The anger. That's why we have to be very, very intentional about going deep to the place it hurts."
