Adventure scooters are now a thing, and they're here to stay. From Yamaha to Kymco and even BMW, more and more manufacturers are getting in on the game. But if there’s one brand that can lay claim to being the original, it’s Honda.
The Japanese giant practically invented the segment with the X-ADV, a once-radical experiment that proved there’s an appetite for rugged styling and real-world utility in scooter form. Its success set the stage for the ADV350, a more accessible take that quickly became a best-seller in Europe.
In 2025, Honda gave the ADV350 a thoughtful round of updates that went beyond just colors. The scooter got a revised muffler and ECU mapping to meet the latest Euro 5+ emissions standard without losing any of its punch. Its 330cc eSP+ single still puts out about 29 horsepower and 23 pound-feet of torque, plenty for highway cruising and quick city hops. A 5-inch TFT display with RoadSync connectivity was added, making it easier to stay linked to your phone while on the move. Remote-reservoir rear shocks, auto-canceling indicators, and emergency stop signals rounded out the package, proving Honda wasn’t treating the ADV350 as just a styling exercise.

For 2026, things are simpler. The ADV350 keeps everything that made it such a success and spruces it up with four new colors: Pearl Falcon Grey, Iridium Gray Metallic, Mat Pearl Cool White, and Mat Coal Black Metallic. But the bigger news, ironically, is something small: an underseat storage light. It’s just an LED and a switch, but in practice, it makes a huge difference.
That means no more fumbling with your phone flashlight to find your wallet or house keys after a late-night ride. It’s the kind of tiny detail that should be standard on every scooter, yet often isn’t. Honda deserves credit for adding it here, because it shows they’re paying attention to how people actually use these bikes.


Interestingly, the ADV350 isn’t officially sold in the US. American buyers only get the ADV160, which sits a rung below it. That’s a shame, because maxi scooters like the ADV350 make a ton of sense stateside. With enough power to keep up on the freeway and the practicality to glide through city traffic, they bridge the gap between motorcycles and daily commuter tools. If Honda ever decides to bring the ADV350 across the Atlantic, expect it to slot in around the $8,000 to $10,000 mark, and the 2026 updates would almost certainly carry over.
And that’s the essence of the ADV350: it just works. It channels the X-ADV’s adventurous spirit, offers storage and features that make daily life easier, and packs just enough performance to cover serious miles. Honda hasn’t reinvented it for 2026, and that’s a good thing. If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it—and the ADV350 proves that sometimes, keeping things simple is the smartest move.
