Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man in Melbourne's west overnight.
Emergency services were called to a property on Essex Street at Sunshine West following reports of an injured man about 8:35pm on Tuesday.
Paramedics treated the man but he died at the scene.
Police on Wednesday said homicide squad detectives were at the property investigating the man's death.
