Police in north Queensland have launched a homicide investigation after a man's body was found at an address in Townsville.
Emergency services were called to a disturbance on Nathan Street in the suburb of Aitkenvale about 7:30pm on Friday.
Officers found the man with serious wounds and he was declared dead at the scene.
On Friday night, police had established a crime scene and the Criminal Investigation Branch was on scene.
