Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a woman in Richmond on Saturday morning.

Police were called to an apartment in Church Street following reports a woman was injured about 3:20am.

The woman died at the scene.

A crime scene has been established.

The circumstances surrounding the woman's death have not been determined.
