A home repairs firm has announced its largest ever North West recruitment drive as it looks to create over 100 jobs at its Preston base.
HomeServe said over the next six months, it is aiming to add another 102 roles to its Preston team, which currently employs more than 240 people across a number of customer service functions.
The firm provides nationwide emergency cover for a range of repairs services including plumbing and heating, and is looking to recruit new claims advisors.
Kasia Klunduk, head of recruitment, said: “The key to our ongoing success is prioritising our customers’ needs and ensuring we keep their lives moving when they need repairs on their homes.
“These new claims advisors roles will, without doubt, be essential in helping us achieve that.
“This is one of our largest recruitment drives to date in the North West region, and part of an ongoing commitment to grow our presence in Preston and support the local economy."
The roles may initially be based remotely in line with current Covid-19 guidance, the firm said.
Ms Klunduk added: “At HomeServe, we strive to make it a great place for everyone and we have a strong commitment to creating a workplace that is inclusive and diverse. We have a culture built on mutual support and empowerment that ensures our people can flourish, something that has been even more important whilst our teams have been working remotely.
"Successful applicants will receive full training to ensure they have all the knowledge and support needed to succeed in the roles, so we’d invite anyone and everyone who might be interested to visit our careers page to find out more.”
