It's on the market for £90,000.

Donna Lewis, Purplebricks’ Senior Property Partner said, “L8 is a fantastic place to live, and properties sell quickly in this part of Liverpool.

"There is a superb mix of different ages, nationalities and cultures, which really makes L8 a special place to live.

"There’s typically lots of terrace streets, which really gives that sense of community.

"While being close to the city centre, it has that real inner city vibe too. There’s a good mix of buyers in L8, from first time buyers who have been brought up here to people relocating from outside the city.”

Stanley Dock - L3

Two bedroom apartment on Brook Street (Purplebricks)

You could also live where the epic showdown finale of series one between the Peaky Blinders and Billy Kimber was filmed.

This was shot outside the Tobacco factory at the Stanley Dock.

The dock stood in for Garrison Lane in a post-First World War Birmingham for the first season.

Cast and crew also returned to Stanley Dock to film scenes for the fifth series, including Cillian Murphy himself.

Just a three minute drive from Stanley Dock is a two bedroom apartment in the L3 area on Brook Street.

The property has waterfront views, an en-suite and "beautiful views".

Entering the apartment reveals a property which briefly comprises entrance hallway with a bathroom and two bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite, a lounge which has fantastic views over Liverpool and leads through to the kitchen.

It's on for a guide price of £210,000 with Purplebricks.

On the L3 area Ms Lewis said: “L3 covers the area right along the River Mersey, so when it comes to properties, we mainly see apartments for sale here.

"Over the last few years there has been a real dip in terms of the demand for these apartments, often the properties would be on the market for a while before selling.

"That said, there has been a resurgence in the last couple of years, which is partly due to supply and demand. Demand is so high in the market so many buyers are widening their search criteria to secure their dream property.

"Over the last few years, there have also been many successful developments in L3 as well as a regeneration of parts of the city centre - for instance the Baltic Markets which are just a short walk from L3.

"Here you will see an abundance of bars and restaurants including a Peaky Blinders bar.”

Port Sunlight - CH42
