Homes, garages burglarized in McKinley Park: police

Chicago police are warning McKinley Park residents about a series of burglaries reported recently in the South Side neighborhood.

In each incident, someone broke into a home or garage and stole property from inside, Chicago police said.

The burglaries happened at all hours of the day between Dec. 30 and Jan. 4 in:

· The 3300 block of South Ashland Avenue;

· The 2300 block of West 35^th Place; and

· The 3500 block of South Western Avenue.

Police did not provide a description of any suspects.
