On arrival at the scene, fire crews found a shed alight. Inside the shed, a BBQ and other garden equipment were found on fire.

Crews used two high pressure hose reels, a 45mm covering jet and thermal imaging cameras in extinguishing the fire. The cause of the blaze is thought to be accidental.

Last month, a house fire in Weston-super-Mare was thought to be started by a cigarette. The fire involved a shed, wooden walkway and utility room in a three-storey terraced house.
