Police are warning residents about a series of burglaries this month in Marquette Park and West Englewood on the South Side.
In each case, someone entered a home or business and stole property, according to a community alert from Chicago police.
The break-ins occurred:
- At 11:58 a.m. May 24 in the 6800 block of South Bell Avenue;
- About 6 a.m. May 19 in the 6600 block of South Maplewood Avenue;
- At 10:37 a.m. May 19 in the 6500 block of South Western Avenue;
- At 4:24 a.m. May 19 in the 6700 block of South Western;
- About 4 p.m. May 18 in the 6800 block of South Claremont Avenue;
- About 12:30 p.m. May 11 in the 6500 block of South Maplewood; and
- About 1:15 a.m. May 10 in the 6700 block of South Western.
