Chicago police are warning residents of a string of robberies reported on the same day in March in Logan Square on the Northwest Side.
In each incident someone tried to break into a home and in one case the person broke into a garage and then tried to break into the attached home, according to a community alert from Chicago police.
The burglaries happened about midnight March 3 in the 2600 block of North Whipple Street and about 1:50 a.m., 2:40 a.m. and 2:45 a.m. March 3 in the 2600 block of North Francisco Avenue, police said.
