Homes left without power in south Nottinghamshire village

A power cut affected homes in Gotham this morning, Friday December 6.

At 6.30am there were a total of 736 homes without power in the NG11 area. By 6.40am this had reduced to 394 properties.

Update: By 6.55am only one property was still without power

Almost all the postcodes affected are in Gotham, although there is also one small area of Bunny without power.

The incident was reported at 5.40am.

Western Power Distribution initially said it estimated the problem would be sorted by 7.15am.

It is described as a 'high voltage' incident, which means it affects the wider area.
