A couple were left stunned after spotting 'phenomenal' two-legged fox in their garden. Philip Carter says he saw the unique creature on his property searching for food, reports Derbyshire Live.
The homeowner was at his Derbyshire home with his partner when they noticed the fox roaming around their garden. In the video they filmed the fox can be seen balancing its two legs with its tail in the air while it explores the outdoors.
Philip says the animal seemed to utilise it's tail to keep it's balance whilst it roamed around. He said: "My wife [Jane] shouted to me to come to the window quick because I wouldn't believe what I'll see.
"It [the fox] was here for about 45 minutes. It ran off when we went to feed it, but after it came back to get the food.
"At one point he ran over to the gate, and I mean run, vertically, straight up. You wouldn't believe it unless you'd seen it. It's absolutely phenomenal."

Philip said the fox appeared in the garden last month whilst the pair were just finishing putting their Christmas tree up. He added: "We have foxes come here all the time, but never a fox like that.
"It blew my mind. It was so strange to just see him go vertical with his tail, just put his head forward and walked off like that.
"And when he ran off I've never seen anything move so fast. I think I know roughly where it's living but I don't want to disturb it."
Derbyshire Wildlife Trust said it had never seen anything like this in the wild before. However, the organisation believes that the fox appears to be relatively healthy and has adapted well to life on two legs.
