Homelessness: share your experiences

Southwark council has received many complaints about spikes that have been installed in the entrance to a luxury block of London flats. The spikes, which are thought to have been installed in the past month, are in a sheltered alcove opposite a hostel for homeless people with mental health problems.

According to a report by Crisis and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation last December, the number of homeless people in England has risen for three consecutive years to 185,000. According to this research, one in 10 people experience homelessness at some point in their life.

There are many reasons why people become homeless but for every individual the story is different. If you or anyone you know is or has ever been homeless we would like to find out more about your experiences and the circumstances that led up to it. Did you manage to find the help you needed?
