Homeless man looks unrecognisable after barber gives him a dramatic makeover

A kind-hearted barber has completely transformed a homeless man with a free haircut and beard makeover that has taken years off of his appearance.

French celebrity barber David Kodat, who goes by @davidkodatofficial on TikTok, regularly shares before and after clips of his client's hair, but this transformation in particular is pretty incredible.

The video, which has had over 20,000 views on the social media platform, sees the man sitting in the barber chair before the cut with long, disheveled grey hair and a beard trailing down to his chest which clearly hasn't been touched in quite some time, reports Daily Star.

In the clip, David spins the man around to give viewers a 360-degree view of what he was working with.

At the front, his beard is so long it's hard to read his facial expression, making it impossible to tell if he's smiling or not.

And at the back, a portion of his hair is matted.

David quickly gets to work, cutting off large, long sections of hair, successfully exposing the man's smile.

The clip then skips to the end result where the man can be seen with a much shorter, neater trim and a more manageable beard.

Since being posted, the video has received almost 3,000 likes.

Stunned viewers took to the comment section to compliment his new look, with many saying he looked younger.

One wrote: "So handsome! That's so awesome."

Another person said: "Oh the change is radical and this new look fits him wonderfully."

"The hair and beard change everything," added a third user.

And another said: "It rejuvenates him so much! We already saw goodness in his eyes but there it is even more blatant."
