He was raced to Glasgow Royal Infirmary after the alarm was raised at around 5.50pm.

Police confirmed that the man died after arriving at hospital.

Officers are not treating the death as suspicious.

Sub-zero temperatures swept across Glasgow and the surrounding area on Sunday evening.

Monday morning commuters were met with treacherous rush hour driving conditions.

A spokesman from the force told the Record: "At around 5.50pm on Sunday, November 17 police were called to a report of a man unwell within a car park in Mitchell Lane, Glasgow.

"The 43-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he was pronounced dead.

"A post mortem examination will take place in due course, however at this time the death is not being treated as suspicious."

The Daily Record contacted NCP for comment.
