DIY giant Homebase has revealed its plans to reopen all its stores in Northern Ireland from tomorrow, Saturday, May 2.
The home improvement retailer and garden centre closed its doors last month amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
And when customers visit their local store from tomorrow they will be met with strict new social distancing measures in place to protect staff and customers.
Homebase said it had introduced wide-ranging measures, which include perspex screens at tills, guidelines on the floor to maintain strict social distancing and accepting card payments only.
Meanwhile, some services will be limited for now with key cutting, kitchen design appointments, and the reserve and collect service all suspended.
Homebase, which has nine stores across Northern Ireland, said it would update shoppers when these services opened again.
Damian McGloughlin, CEO of Homebase, said the DIY store was "ready to safely welcome customers back through our doors".
In a statement, he added: "We have taken this time to carefully review and make a large number of changes to our operations in preparation for a safe, phased reopening, in line with UK Government guidance on social distancing.
"All remaining UK stores, including Northern Ireland, will all be reopened for customers to shop from Saturday 2nd May.
"It has taken a tremendous amount of hard work and commitment from our teams across all parts of the business, to ensure we are ready to safely welcome customers back through our doors.
"I'm extremely grateful for the dedication shown by every single team member, and to our customers, for the huge support and understanding."
All Homebase stores here will be open from 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
