Rosana Queiroz, managing director of Pante Luxury, explains why the business should win the home business category of the Guardian Small Business Showcase competition.
I have been running my business at home for 18 months. Pante is a luxury fashion brand specialising in women’s knitwear. Our production is in Italy and we use quality fabric such as cashmere, wool and fine leather. Everything is designed with a special touch to perfection by Ana Paula Pante, my business partner who lives in Italy.
We are now selling online and exhibiting around Europe in order to gather potential buyers. However, I do work from home as I have a part-time job until I graduate from my business studies degree.
All entries which meet the competition criteria are published and our judging panel select a shortlist of the top three for each category. Winners are announced at an awards ceremony in summer 2016.
