Tommy & Lottie is a British unisex, high-end brand, currently producing soft cotton T-shirts for babies up to two-years-old.

The designs are screen-printed in the UK, and the print feels like part of the garment for soft touch and durability. The designs are drawn by me and have a British nostalgic theme to them that all generations can relate to. I am passionate about protecting British heritage, and this is reflected in the designs.

Having an ethical and sustainable manufacturing source means the following: no child labour; no forced or unfair overtime; a safe working environment; paid maternity leave; workers are paid over the minimum wage and taught skills not just given jobs; vertical production (everything is done in one place); and the cotton is grown near to the factory. Also, the cotton is rain-fed and not irrigated, and it is shipped and not flown by plane.

My long-term plan is to produce a unisex British lifestyle brand for the baby and children’s market. The categories will include fashion, gifts and home interiors and everything will be manufactured from a ethical and sustainable place with no compromise on quality.

I started the business in March and I work from my home juggling my time between the kids and Tommy & Lottie – I love both jobs!
