Settled is a platform that gives people all they need to sell their property online, fee-free, without the need for a high street estate agent. We believe that selling a home doesn’t have to be complicated and expensive and the whole process can be vastly improved for everyone, with intuitive tools and technology.
Settled has been in business for just over a year now with the majority of our time spent using a home office. Getting the right working space is key to being productive and it’s something that for us has evolved hugely over the past year.
We started out quite literally sitting on the sofa, laptop in hand, but this quickly became tiresome so we invested in a small desk which the two founders shared. As the team grew we were forced to upgrade to a much larger table with new office chairs so that everyone was comfortable and had plenty of room.
With the new additions to the team we also began to designate areas of the house for different types of meetings. So, for a brainstorming meeting we would move to the living room and set up a whiteboard. For important business calls we would often move to the dining room. Weather permitting we have also been known to head to the garden for meetings and should we need somewhere for an external meeting – there is a very handy pub across the road!
