In order to reduce energy use by my business to the absolute minimum, I have self-built a new home/office which is band A and has a Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) energy rating of 97.

It is the first CSH Level 5 house in County Durham and recently won the award for Best Individual New Home at the 2014 National LABC Building Excellence Awards in London.

This home/office means no commuting to work and it demonstrates my expertise in low-energy building design.
