Rebecca Robertson, founder and director of Evolution for Women, saw a massive need for more female financial advisers and a requirement for more women to have financial advice. However, she wanted to approach the market differently from other financial service firms.
Women make financial decisions differently, requiring a more holistic approach and wanting to understand aspects of the advice given. Rebecca launched the UK’s first national female adviser firm for everyday families.
Over the last 12 months she has created a franchise opportunity for female financial advisers with or without any previous experience, to start their own business under the Evolution for Women brand, which is flexible around their family and chosen lifestyles.
As a financial planner, Rebecca understood the market and the needs of the team. By providing them with a full range of tools to make their business successful, they have gone from strength to strength.
Advisers include an army wife with three children - with a gap of over five years since leaving the industry, a mum of one with experience in business banking, another with a background in management, and another who left the rat race from her executive PA career of 50-plus hours a week. The opportunity has been life changing for them.
