Home Bargains, Marks & Spencer and Aldi among retailers not taking part in Black Friday 2019

Many shoppers will be well aware that tomorrow marks Black Friday's official date , meaning retailers across the high street will be offering huge discounts.

The shopping event was originally an American tradition however it was quickly adopted by stores in the UK.

It gives shoppers the chance to save money on everything from TVs, home furniture and coffee machines to clothing, beauty products and handbags.

Some retailers are even offering up to 70% off, and extending offers so they're running longer than just the one day with Black Friday now thought of as weekend-long event.

Followed by Cyber Monday which falls on December 2.

However, there are some retailers who have decided to avoid all the madness and not get involved this year.

Liverpool's own Home Bargains has confirmed to the ECHO its stores will not be offering any specific Black Friday discount.

Other stores not taking park include Marks & Spencer who confirmed today they had opted out this year, Aldi and Selfridges.

Lush is also reportedly not taking part in Black Friday 2019, but instead is launching eight new perfumes and three limited-edition body sprays.
