Home Bargains launches £7.99 watermelon flavoured gin liqueur - and customers love it

Many people have been enjoying a tipple at home during lockdown with alcohol sales soaring across stores since March.

Although pubs, bars and restaurants have now reopened, some still prefer to remain at home to enjoy a drink - so it's no surprise to see the excitement generated by the latest Home Bargains product, reports the LiverpoolEcho.

The budget retailer took to its Facebook page to share its Watermelon Crush Gin Liqueur which it recently released across its stores priced at £7.99.

Home Bargains claims the tipple will become the new "summer crush".

And it's already got the seal of approval from many customers who have tried the fruity liqueur and those who plan to pick up a bottle.

One user said: "Sounds lush. Definitely getting a bottle of that next time I'm in Home Bargains."

Another said: "Drinking that right now and its gorgeous."

And a third added: "I need some of this."

It's important to remember when visiting a Home Bargains store that social distancing and safety measures will be in place.
