Home Bargains is selling a £5.99 serving board that is shaped like a sleigh

There's a huge range of impressive budget buys available at Home Bargains stores, but there's one that shoppers just can't enough of.

The discount retailer is now selling a serving board that is shaped like a sleigh for only £5.99 and customers are desperate to snap one up.

Ideal for the upcoming festive season, the bamboo serving board sits on top of a red sleigh frame - making it look like Santa's mode of transport.

It comes in the perfect size for serving mince pies and other Christmassy treats during the holiday season.

Matalan has a similar version with the words "Eat, Drink and be Merry" engraved on to it, down from £12 to just £5, but it has now sold out.

The festive board was recently spotted by a savvy shopper, who shared a snap of it to the Extreme Couponing and Home Bargains UK group on Facebook.

"The one on the left is from Home Bargains for £5.99 the one on right is from Matalan for £12.00 at double the price," she said.

"Admittedly it does appear to have some fancy engraving but once you put stuff on it to serve it will be covered anyway."

The post has gone down a storm with shoppers and has attracted over 1,000 likes and hundreds of comments.

One delighted user wrote: "How cute would this look on the Christmas table!! Xxx."

Someone else commented: "I got excited and thought this was an actual sledge."

While another said: "Can be used as a cheese board, which is exactly what I'm looking for x."

Sadly, the Home Bargains sleigh board isn't available to buy online, so you'll need to check for it at your closest store. You can find out your local branch by using the online locator tool.

Meanwhile, Next has launched a massive clearance sale online and it includes clothing and homeware.

The Next website says that most items are half price or less, so you can fill up your basket without overspending.
