Home Bargains introduces strict new shopping rule during lockdown

We are now in our seventh week of lockdown and with each new week brings more change across the stores which remain open.

Liverpool's own Home Bargains has remained open during lockdown deemed as an essential shop along with other budget retailers such as B&M and The Range.

Home Bargains has been implementing social distancing across all of its stores since the Government first put the measures in place but it has now introduced another rule for its customers.

Each rule introduced to its stores is designed to help keep customers and staff safe and prevent further spread of coronavirus.

On a recent visit to our local Home Bargains store we noticed a new sign placed at the entrance. It advises customers that when possible they must shop alone with only one member per household allowed.

This is similar to rules in place at Sainsbury's stores too.

It is due to Home Bargains currently operating a customer limit with shoppers asked to wait outside once this limit has been met.

By adhering to this limit it means each customer can keep a two metre distance from each other.
