Home Bargains introduces new coronavirus lockdown rules for shoppers

Home Bargains has introduced new rules for shoppers amid the coronavirus lockdown.

The discount store chain, which sells everything from furniture to food, has remained open during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The chain currently operates a customer limit, with shoppers asked to wait outside once the limit has been met.

By adhering to the limit it means each customer can keep a two metre distance from each other - in line with the government's social distancing guidelines.

And now, in the seventh week of the government lockdown, Home Bargains has advised it's customers to shop alone.

Signs placed at the entrance to stores state that only one family member per household is allowed inside - similar to rules in place at  Sainsbury's  stores.

There are a host of Home Bargains stores in Scotland, with branches in Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Stirling, Perth, Tillicoultry, Airdrie, Kilsyth, Milngavie, Bishopbriggs, Dunfermline, Fort William, Clydebank, Greenock, and a number in Glasgow.
