Home Bargains has launched a shimmering bubble gum flavoured gin liqueur for £8

If you're looking for a way to impress your pals at the next barbecue or picnic, you might want to head down to your nearest Home Bargains store.

The discount retailer is selling a bubble gum flavoured gin liqueur that shimmers when you shake it. Sounds pretty amazing if you ask us.

Made by the Manchester Drinks Co, the sweet drink comes in a vibrant blue colour and is packed with fruity flavour, making it perfect for enjoying at summer shindigs.

It's available in Home Bargains stores for only £8, so you pick up a few bottles without breaking the bank.

Richard Benjamin, Director at Manchester Drinks said: “We’re so excited to have expanded our gin liqueur range with the Bubble Gum flavour – it’s colourful, fun and definitely a talking point when enjoying a glass with friends.’’

Each 500ml bottle has a 20% ABV and pairs perfectly with lemonade and ice.

As expected, gin fans have been expressing their excitement about the new tipple on social media.

Commenting on an Instagram post by Manchester Drinks Co, one user said: "AHHHHH NEED THIS."

While another added: "Oh. My. Goodness. I need this."

A third wrote: "Very exciting!!! Can never go wrong with bubblegum! Will have to keep my eyes peeled for a bottle."

Unfortunately, the bubble gum flavoured gin liqueur is only available in stores - so you won't be able to buy it online.

Shoppers can find out their nearest Home Bargains and its opening times online at homebargains.co.uk.

If you can't get down to your local branch, drinks website Bottle Bling is selling a Blue Shimmer Bubblegum Gin liqueur for £21.99.

In other booze news, Aldi has added three new gin flavours to its botanical Haysmith’s range.

The new gins are priced at £14.99 each and include Rhubarb & Ginger, London Dry and Raspberry & Redcurrant Pink.
