Home Bargains has introduced strict new rules about who can shop in stores

As essential retailers try to keep shopper numbers low and ensure that health and safety measures are met, many high-street stores have been forced to implement strict rules.

Several supermarkets have limited shoppers to one person per household, while B&Q is asking people not to bring anybody under the age of 16 into its stores.

And now it looks like Home Bargains has implemented a new strict rule to limit the number of people in its shops at any one given time.

On a recent visit to a local Home Bargains store, the team at the Liverpool ECHO noticed a new sign placed at the entrance. It advises customers that when possible they must shop alone with only one member per household allowed.

It is due to Home Bargains currently operating a customer limit with shoppers asked to wait outside once this limit has been met.

By adhering to this limit it means each customer can keep a two metre distance from each other.

So if you are heading out to get essentials from Home Bargains, try to keep the number of shoppers down to one per household where possible, and help our NHS in their fight against coronavirus.
