Home Bargains customers outraged by price of giant Toblerone

Home Bargains shoppers are not happy with the price of the store's giant bar of Toblerone.

The huge chocolate bar, which is roughly 80cm long, will set you back a whopping £49.

The enormous treat is available online and in store but customers have been left outraged by the price, Liverpool Echo reports.

One person said: “Who in their right mind would pay that amount for a chocolate bar, especially a cheap one like that.”

Another added: “Who would pay £50 for this. A Christmas dinner to feed the whole family wouldn't cost this much."

A third said on Facebook: “I really want one but I'm not quite at the level of madness required to spend £50 on a bar of chocolate”.

Some did, however, like the idea of the chocolate treat - tagging their friends and asking for one as a Christmas present.

The giant Toblerone bar can be bought at Home Bargains online or in store for £49.

Home Bargains has been contacted for comment.
