It’s Boxing Day and for some people that means hitting the shops so we’ve taken a look at the opening times for stores including B&M and Home Bargains.
This year some stores have decided to remain closed on Boxing Day and that includes Home Bargains, so you will need to wait another day to visit the popular Liverpool retailer.
Announcing the decision to shoppers last month, a spokesperson for Home Bargains said: “We want to recognise how hard our staff have worked throughout some very challenging times and allow them to relax and truly enjoy the break safely with their loved ones.

“Home Bargains is a family-run business, and we know the importance of being together at Christmas time, now more than ever. Our staff work tirelessly to keep all our stores running smoothly no matter what and this is our way of saying thank you to all of our staff for their hard work and commitment.”
But other budget stores including B&M and Wilko are opening up again today, having closed for Christmas Day. You can also see a full list of supermarket opening times on Boxing Day here.

B&M
Most stores across Liverpool are open from 7am to 6pm today but Bootle opens at 9am. You can find opening times at other stores on the B&M website here.
