A £1 product Home Bargains shoppers went crazy for has arrived back on shelves this week.
The bargain retailer caused a stir among fans back in February 2020 after they spotted its pre-made salt and pepper seasoning.
Priced at £1.19, Kerala Chinese Salt & Pepper Chilli Pepper Seasoning has arrived back in stores, including Liverpool’s Hanover Street shop.
After its release, many celebrated being able to make their own ‘fakeaway’ meals and claiming their salt and pepper dishes tasted even better than what you’d get from the chippy.

Many people took to Facebook to rave about the product, praising it as “absolutely delicious”.
One person said: "I made salt and pepper chips with it last night. Was absolutely delicious! I recommend it."
Another even detailed the stress they'd found trying to get hold of the product.
They said: "I've tried to get this but it's always out of stock, I phoned Home Bargains today and was advised to phone first thing Saturday morning and ask them to put it by for me, I live 25 mins from the store so don't want to keep chancing it!"

One user even shared the recipe they’d used, they said: "I just used these, chopped some spring onion, red onion, mushrooms and red chillies and fried it all together with garlic oil then sprinkled the seasoning over! Easy peasy!"
