Home Bargains is offering its customers the takeaway experience for £1 thanks to one of its popular food products.
The retailer stocks Mayflower Chinese Style Curry Sauce mix which comes in a medium or hot flavouring.
While coronavirus has left many watching their money more closely, it means Home Bargains customers can still enjoy that Friday night takeaway on a budget.
The product has hundreds of five star reviews online, with many claiming it "tastes just like" curry sauce from the chippy.
Among the reviewers, one person said: "This product has been my go to curry sauce for quite some time, mainly cause it actually tastes like Chinese curry sauce."
