Home Bargains' £1.49 product has started a new lockdown shopping craze

Popular high street retailer Home Bargains has been allowed to stay open in lockdown after being deemed essential, and for many shoppers, it's been an absolute lifeline.

But as well as having the essentials, Home Bargains also allows shoppers to pick up a little treat to cheer themselves up while visiting to get things like cleaning products and food.

The latest Home Bargains craze is melting dinosaur and unicorn hot chocolate bombs - which are proving extremely popular with shoppers.

Each bomb is filled with marshmallows, and melts into a chocolatey mess when placed into hot milk.

Home Bargains shared a picture of the chocolate treats on Instagram, writing: "We've made drinking hot chocolate more fun than it already is. Watch your chocolate Dinosaur or Unicorn melt into liquid chocolatey goodness with extra sweet goodies to be found inside!

"Available online (case of 10, £14.90) and in store £1.49 each."

"How cute are these," said one person, responding to the post.

Another wrote: "Now these are a bit of me."

"Looook!" said somebody else.

The post has since been liked almost 10,000 times, so it's clear the hot chocolate bombs are already a hit.

They're available in stores individually for £1.49 now, and packs of 10 are available online for £14.90.
