Home Bargains' £1.25 spray that clears mould in just '15 minutes'

Shoppers are raving about Home Bargains' really cheap spray that clears mould in just 15 minutes.

Keeping bathrooms clean at this time of year can be a nightmare as damp conditions grow over the winter. But one Mrs Hinch fan has shared the perfect solution.

Posting on Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips, she said the mould and mildew blaster has cleared her blinds very quickly. She said: "My vertical blinds were covered in mould. I used this mould and mildew spray from ome Bargains £1.25. Sprayed on and left for 15 mins and it was gone!"

When someone questioned how it worked, she responded: " I sprayed and left on. I used a sponge for the tougher parts but honestly it removed 95% of it just by spraying."

Dozens of people were quick to praise the item. One person said: "I've used this on my blinds it doesn't mark them just spray it on and leave it to do its work."

Another said: "I’ve got some mould in my shower on the grout. Was going to get the elbow grease version but tempted with this one."

"This product is amazing … I was sceptical, but amazed .. spray and wipe off," someone else wrote.

Another follower said the spray works really well on all surfaces. She said: "I swear by it for bathroom/kitchen grout, tiles, shower door, floor and anything else it's 1.99 B&M."

Bristol Live recently shared top tips for banishing mould from your homes:

Top 10 tips for getting a grip on mould

  1. Opening windows whenever you can - especially after baths, showers, when cooking and drying clothes, to let the excess moisture escape
  2. Keeping pan lids on when cooking to retain condensation
  3. Drying clothes outside wherever possible
  4. Using extractor fans in kitchens and bathrooms
  5. Utilise trickle vents on your windows
