Christmas has come early for fans of the classic Macaulay Culkin movie Home Alone - as the remake will be out in time for the 2021 festive season.
As well as confirming a release date for the Home Alone reboot, Disney has also given the film a title two years after it was first announced.
The Home Alone reboot was first confirmed in 2019 and it’s now official: Home Sweet Home Alone will be streaming on Disney+ in November.

It will come 31 years after the original Home Alone film was released in 1990.
The Christmas comedy classic starred Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister and has become a cult favourite during the festive season.

When is the Home Sweet Home Alone release date?
Home Sweet Home Alone will be hitting television screens for streaming on November 12.
It will be available on Disney+ just in time for the festive season.
Dan Mazer will be directing the reboot , with Saturday Night Live writers Mikey Day and Streeter Seidell on script duties.
20th Century Studios shared pictures of the cast on Twitter, confirming the name of the reboot and its release date.
“Three months until we’re #HomeSweetHomeAlone,” it said.
Who is in the Home Sweet Home Alone cast?
The cast of Home Sweet Home Alone has also been revealed, with confirmed actors including Ellie Kemper (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) and Kenan Thompson (Saturday Night Live).
Archie Yates will star as main character Max Mercer who, unsurprisingly, has been left home alone over Christmas.
The cast also includes Aisling Bea, Rob Delaney, Mikey Day, Peter Holmes, Tim Simons, Pete Holmes, Devin Ratray, Ally Maki and Chris Parnell.
So far no actors from the original Home Alone film have been confirmed in the Disney+ original reboot.
What is Home Sweet Home Alone about?
The new Home Alone film is a remake of the original, and will largely follow the same theme as the other films in the series.
Home Sweet Home Alone will see Max Mercer, a mischievous youngster, staying behind while his family go on a trip for Christmas.
While the family are away, a married couple attempts to break into the home and steal a priceless heirloom.
In true Home Alone style, chaos and hilarity are set to ensue while Max protects his home and the heirloom from trouble.
