Counting is well under way for the first two North Lanarkshire seats set to be declared at the Scottish Parliament election.
Ballot boxes from the Airdrie & Shotts and Coatbridge & Chryston constituencies are currently being opened at Ravenscraig Sports Centre, with results estimated to be declared at around 2pm.
Only two counts can take place simultaneously, rather than the usual five, to maintain social distancing, meaning that ballot boxes will instead be opened over two days.
The two Monklands results will be followed by the Motherwell & Wishaw constituency count, expected to start at 3pm today and declare by around 8pm.

Meanwhile candidates in Cumbernauld & Kilsyth and Uddingston & Bellshill will be waiting until Saturday afternoon to find out who will be heading to Holyrood.

Among the Covid-19 safety measures in place are social distancing and screens between count staff, a greatly reduced number of activists and supporters accompanying each candidate, plus sanitising, one-way systems and Test and Protect measures.
