Holyland Belfast incident attended by emergency services

Emergency services are currently dealing with a incident involving a single car in South Belfast.

It occurred in Jerusalem Street of the Holyland area on Wednesday afternoon.

It is understood that there was one passenger in vehicle at the time.

Members of the Northern Ireland Fire Service, PSNI and an ambulance crew attended the incident.

One person, believed to be the driver, was treated for injuries at the scene.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Members of the emergency services are currently dealing with a single traffic incident in South Belfast.

"Motorists have been asked to avoid the area."
