A Lake Macquarie woman said she couldn't wait to spoil her mum after winning $200,000 in the latest Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The Hunter woman won the guaranteed first prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1470, drawn Tuesday.
She was unaware of her win until a NSW Lotteries official told her on Tuesday afternoon.
Although, it took a while to convince her.
"How do I know you're actually from NSW Lotteries?" she asked.
"Are you sure you're not a sophisticated hacker or this isn't some kind of prank?"
"Holy s***! How can this be real?" she eventually cried with happiness after realising it wasn't a joke.
"Holy dooley, wow!
"Gosh, I can't wait to call my family, and my boss, and friends - I can't wait to tell everyone.
"You have made my day, my week, my month, my year."
While she said she would put most of her prize in the bank, she has a few things on her spending list.
"I have been wanting to buy a car. Now I actually will be able to get one and I won't have to get a loan," she laughed.
"I want to take my mum on a holiday too. I am not sure where, I will let her pick.
"Tonight, I am going to take my mum out for a nice dinner so that we can celebrate."
The happy woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry online.
