Holy Cross High School pupils scoop trophy in Scullion LAW debating competition

Proud youngsters at Holy Cross High were delighted to pick up the trophy as this year’s winners of the annual Scullion LAW debating competition.

Niamh Gallagher and Marie-Therese Kerr beat off great competition from entries from around Lanarkshire to take the trophy this year.

The youngsters said: “Scullion has been a major part of our development as debaters.

“The competition itself has become an annual tradition for Holy Cross High School and something we have been delighted to have been a part of.

“Thanks to Scullion we have made friends with other people from across Lanarkshire and learned the valuable skill of articulation.”

They are pictured with the trophy being presented to them by managing director Nicholas Scullion of Scullion LAW.
