Hollywood stars Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams spotted filming Eurovision movie at Glasgow Airport

Hollywood A-listers were part of the jet set at Glasgow Airport yesterday.

Anchorman star Will Ferrell was spotted shooting scenes for upcoming Netflix feature Eurovision on Monday, alongside The Notebook's Rachel McAdams.

The pair have been on location across Edinburgh for the past few weeks as they film for the much-anticipated comedy based on the 1972 song contest held in the Scottish capital.

The actors play Icelandic musicians Lars Erickssong and Sigrit Ericksdottir who are given the chance to represent their nation at the legendary song contest - which is why they could be seen clutching musical instrument cases.

They caused a stir yesterday, drawing crowds of passengers who were willing to cut down time on the obligatory airport drink to catch a glimpse of the actors.

They've also both been keeping fans over in Edinburgh entertained over the past few days, having been spotted dining out and scooting around Calton Hill on Segways

Other stars appearing in the Netflix movie include Pierce Brosnan who play's Will's father – and the "most handsome man in Iceland".

Demi Lovato and Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens will also star in the film.
