Hollywood star Margot Robbie obsessed with Love Island and backing Liberty to win

Hollywood actress Margot Robbie is obsessed with Love Island – and Brummie student Liberty Poole.

The Harley Quinn star wants to see blonde bombshell Liberty, 21, win this year’s show after coupling up with hunky water engineer Jake Cornish, 24.

Aussie actress Margot said: "I love Liberty. She is my favourite, for sure.

"It’s incredible how much you care about these people you have never met."

Margot is currently in the US but admits tuning in to the show online "every night" – and loves it so much that she even themed her recent birthday party around Love Island.

The star, who turned 31 on July 2, celebrated by turning her Los Angeles home into 'Casa Amor', like the Majorcan villa on ITV’s hit dating show.

Margot posed by the pool with Victoria’s Secret model Kelly Gale, 26, and actress Samara Weaving, 29, who shared some snaps of last week’s event on Instagram.

Weaving even used the popular show phrase "Got a Text" when adding captions to her pics.

A bucking bronco also featured at last week’s party and a heart-shaped ice sculpture with a slide for tequila shots.

Margot was thrilled to meet some former Love Island stars at the premiere of her film, Birds of Prey, in 2020.

But the actress, who married film assistant Tom Ackerley in 2016, doesn’t reckon she’d be able to fit in on Love Island herself.

"There is no way I was ever cool enough to be on it," she said.

"I don’t think people want to spend a summer watching a girl who sits around and drinks beer and eats chips every evening."

She added: "I am glad I found love the conventional way!"
