Batman actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt is searching for pictures taken in Wales for a "new project".

As an example of what he was looking for he shared a stunning image of Lake Vyrnwy, North Wales Live reports, with a rainbow stretching from one side of the lake to the other, taken by Liza Wellsted.

His post, which has generated hundreds of images so far, said: “Hi, friends in Wales! I'm looking for cool photos taken anywhere in Wales for a new project on my site hitRECord.

“Find some good ones in your camera roll and add them to the project HERE: https://hitrecord.app.link/wales

“There are also steps in this project for writers and voice actors, so feel free to check those out as well if you're interested.

“Looking forward to seeing your photos!”
