Hollywood filmmakers, actors respond to hacked Sony emails

Dec. 12--A trove of internal Sony emails leaked online in the wake of a cyberattack on the studio has got Hollywood buzzing on social media.

In the last few days, hackers have unleashed confidential messages between Sony Pictures co-Chairman Amy Pascal, other Sony executives and big Hollywood figures. Several exchanged messages contain fiery remarks -- some insensitive or racially charged -- about Hollywood filmmakers, actors and even President Obama.

Kevin Hart was called a "whore" by Screen Gems Inc. President Clint Culpepper; Angelina Jolie was referred to as "a minimally talented spoiled brat" by Scott Rudin; Adam Driver was called a "terrible idea" for "Star Wars" by Aaron Sorkin. Some have expressed their outrage over the comments.

Being #hacked sucks but not as much as being an actress at the mercy of these producers tongues. Now everyone knows! #rudin #pascal #email

Others, like director Judd Apatow, have taken to Twitter to rant about the media's decision to publish personal emails.

Releasing private Sony e mails to hurt people is the same as releasing nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence. Why are they ok to print?
