Hollyoaks viewers are in for a treat later this year, as it’s been confirmed bad boy Warren Fox is returning to the Channel 4 soap in a permanent role.
The character has been back and forth on the soap a number of times, and was last seen over a year ago when he fled the village again.
After the birth of his and Sienna Blake’s twins Sebastian and Sophie prior to this, he went on the run after murdering Bart McQueen and took his baby son with him.
Months later, in May last year, after believing Sienna had been killed, he came back once more and took baby Sophie too.
Sienna has been in turmoil ever since, and a new plot sees her trying to track down her children.
After believing she’s finally tracked the twins down Sienna plots to flee the village with them, fearing it’s her only chance to be their mum again.
Now though, it’s been confirmed there’s a bigger twist on the cards for the character.
Digital Spy have revealed that Warren, played by actor Jamie Lomas, is returning to the village amid the new plot.
Not only that, but the publication claims it’s a permanent return for the village baddie.
While no details have been revealed by the show, Jamie has been pictured on set ready to reprise the role once more.
A source told the publication: “Wherever Warren goes, trouble always follows and his return to Hollyoaks is sure to spark some high-stakes storylines.
"There's plenty of unfinished business between Warren and Sienna Blake after their turbulent history – and could he find himself going head-to-head with her new boyfriend Brody Hudson?"
Whether Sienna, who is currently with Brody Hudson, will be able to forgive Warren remains to be unseen.
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6:30pm on Channel 4 with the next episode at 7pm on E4.
