Hollyoaks has enough episodes to last until the end of July, reports say.
They add that show bosses have a Plan B in place to give fans their dose of the soap, which involves re-running "vintage episodes", dating back to the show's beginning in 1995.
Channel 4 was forced to bring production to a halt amid the coronavirus outbreak, with the weekly number of episodes cut back from five to two to keep it on screens as long as possible.
A source at Hollyoaks told The Sun Online : "The soap will switch to vintage episodes - known as Favourites - five nights per week.

"They've managed to get clearance to run any old episode going right back to the first one in 1995."
They added: "They have all been given a digital makeover so viewers can see classic episodes in high-definition for the first time ever."
Mirror Online has reached out to Channel 4 for comment.

Fans of the soap will no doubt be distraught at the prospect of no new episodes - especially as cast members have been teasing what's to come.
Speaking exclusively to Mirror Online, Mitchell Deveraux actor Imran Adams dropped hints about what's awaiting the Chester lot.
After he found out the identity of his dad - Richard Blackwood's Felix Westwood - Imran teased that it'll be a while until they're a happy family.

"I'm rooting for Felix and Mitchell," he told, "And I do hope they find a way to build their relationship.
"It would take Felix being a man and showing his son he can be the dad he wants to be. Right now the stealing, the lying, the backstabbing...Mitchell's not about that."
Hollyoaks isn't the only soap concerned about running out of episodes, as over at Corrie Kirk Sutherland actor Andy Whyment reckons they'll need to get back to filming by mid-June if they're to avoid they're to keep it on the air.
