Hollyoaks' Summer Ranger has successfully convinced Brody Hudson that they are meant to be, with their wedding just around the corner.
But of course fans know that the latest soap villain is in fact after a brutal revenge, which she has planned in detail.
She blames Brody for the death of her father Cormac, after he was attacked by her partner as well as Warren Fox and Felix Westwood, and he later died after being in a coma for months.
His death was caused by a heart attack, and Brody himself didn't kill the villain - but Summer has stopped at nothing to get revenge on him, after he lied to her face about what happened.
He helped cover up the crime and then allowed Summer to seek comfort in him as she grieved for her dad.
Now, the character has been plotting to bring him down on their wedding day in front of everyone, only for her plan to slowly fall apart.
But speaking exclusively to The Mirror, actress Rhiannon Clements teased this could only make her more dangerous and unpredictable.
As events take an "erratic" turn as she plots to keep things on track, one character will be caught in the crossfire.
Rhiannon said: "The plan was initially about exposing Brody with the footage of the hospital.
"But when that sort of goes up in smoke for her, she is thinking quite erratically and is thinking, right what can I do to make it really come crashing down?
"I think when all the pieces start to fall and when things aren’t going the way she wants it to, she’s got everybody right where she needs them, and it’s a matter of acting fast.
"So yeah, I think she’s acting really erratically and she will do anything in order to get what she wants."
Summer also started up an affair with Brody's ex Sienna Blake behind his back, as if trying to bring him down wasn't enough.
But Sienna's sister Liberty found out, leading to Summer kidnapping her with no one in the village yet aware of her torment.
Things take a turn though when Liberty escapes, with someone soon caught in the crossfire as Summer goes to huge lengths to stop her spilling the beans.
Rhiannon revealed: "Liberty escapes. Summer has all of these plates spinning, but she sort of drops the ball for a minute and leaves the door unlocked.
"Liberty makes an escape and Summer ends up chasing Liberty down, knowing that if she does speak to anybody that her plan is going to be revealed, and Summer has been using her time with Liberty to explain and plot through her plans of what she’s going to do to destroy Brody.
"So Liberty knows everything about what’s coming for Brody so if she speaks to anybody, then Summer's plan is foiled.
"She chases Liberty through the woods and Liberty, in her state of obviously being locked away for so long and being scared for her life, attacks an innocent bystander and she gets caught in the crossfire.
"It's all about how Summer can then use the situation and get everything back on track to where she needs to be, and it's just a minor blip to get where she needs to be."
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6:30pm on Channel 4, with the next episode at 7pm on E4.
