Hollyoaks star teases if Scott and Mitchell wedding will happen amid split fears

Hollyoaks fans are fearing Scott Drinkwell will leave Mitchell Deveraux after the brutal attack on Felix Westwood.

Scott doesn't completely trust his boyfriend over his father's assault, after Mitchell disappeared around the time of the incident.

Mitchell has been arrested after he was set up by his triplet Celeste, while their sibling Toby was the real culprit.

He only learned that the pair existed earlier this year, and only met his father weeks ago.

But angry over the fact he and Celeste were sold as babies by him, Toby took revenge and attacked Felix, leaving him fighting for his life.

As Mitchell continues to protest his innocence in upcoming scenes, with Scott giving him a fake alibi, the couple hit the rocks.

Mitchell will do what he can to prove his love for Scott, and plans a proposal - but will he say yes?

Speaking exclusively to Mirror Online , Mitchell actor Imran Adams confirmed he certainly hoped so - adding why he is siding with viewers in hoping that the pair say together.

Mitchell recently discovered he was a triplet (Channel 4)

He told us: "Mitchell is a very traditional guy, so when he's with someone he loves as much as Scott then marriage is always on the cards.

"But because Mitchell didn't really expect to be in a gay relationship he probably didn't have that in the forefront of his mind.

"I'm hoping something happens that triggers something in his mind, that makes him realise, 'Marry this guy, fool!'

"It is possible and I’m proud to live in a world where it is possible, so fingers crossed. I’m on the audience's side and I'll be cheering Mitchell and Scott on alongside them."

On what's to come for the couple, he went on: "You can expect more love, more drama and for the relationship to evolve even further.

"They have been through so much in front of the nation's eyes and I feel like they deserve a happy ever after, especially when you find someone you have unconditional love for, and when you love them for better and for worse."

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6:30pm on Channel 4, with the next episode at 7pm on E4.
