Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis reveals her dramatic weight loss

Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis has revealed the results of her fitness regime, showing off her dramatic weight loss on Instagram.

The mother-of-one shared a photo of her baggy camouflage trousers with her followers, pulling at the waistband to show the gap.

She wrote: "Baggy trousers! Seeing major results, lost a lot of weight, I need me a new wardrobe."

The post came days after the actress and singer, who has a two-year-old son Caben-Albi, shared a video of herself dancing in a studio with the hashtags: "#music #dance #finally #holdtight #determined #countingdown."

Steph, 26, has also revealed that she's got back into running again.

It was recently reported that the soap star, who plays Sineads O'Connor in Hollyoaks , had split from her co-star Owen Warner after a nine-month romance.

This weekend she went to see Toy Story 4 with her 'best friend' Caben-Albi and shared a video clip of herself smiling as she took a selfie in the mirror with the hashtag "#familysundays."

Steph, who was a familiar face on the Manchester social scene, returned to Hollyoaks last year after three years away from the soap.

She was sacked 'with immediate effect' from the show in 2015 when she turned up to the Liverpool set unfit to work because of alcohol consumption.

Steph returned to screens after turning her life around following the breakdown of her relationship with Caben-Albi's father, her Celebrity  Big Brother co-star Jeremy McConnell.

Speaking on Loose Women earlier this year she said she was drinking three bottles of wine in the mornings in the grip of her alcohol addiction.

She checked herself into rehab in 2017 after attempts to take her own life.

The soap star, who spent eight weeks in rehab, told the Loose Women panel that she had suffered night tremors and was drinking every day to block out her pain.

Asked about her 'light bulb moment' she told the Loose Women: "You can only do it yourself.

"I was drinking every day, probably three bottles of wine in the morning.

"I got told I had trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder."

Ahead of the British Soap Awards in June she shared moving photos from the time of Caben-Albi's birth and said: "For where I am in life now, I’m winning. It’s all about my beautiful baby boy and if I’ve made him proud, then that’s all that matters!

"I fought through, I have worked my ASS off on my self, in work, and EVERY aspect of my life!

"I struggled being a single mum, but I have done it, I’ve been knocked down massively but got back up and got back up and got back up again."
