Hollyoaks' Kai Owen has left acting to pursue a career as a personal trainer in lockdown.
The 45-year-old's stint on the Chester-based soap is one of the fans' best loved performances, bringing to life the sinister Pete Buchanan.
But last year, as the country was plunged into lockdown, Kai was busy at work on a new venture.
"A little something coming your way this August," he wrote, teasing Kai Owen Personal Training.
"Healthy body. Healthy mind."
He specialises in senior fitness and corrective exercise, as well as mental strength, and currently offers digital sessions due to lockdown restrictions.
Kai's Instagram is packed with exercise tips and tricks, inspirational quotes and photos, and nutrition info and recipes.
He also dishes out handy health hints, including: "Enough sleep is just as important for good health as nutrition and exercise."
Another reads: "Some days are better, some days are worse, look for the blessing instead of the curse.
"Be positive, stay strong, and get enough rest. You can't do it all, but you can do your best."
And to provide some workout inspo, Kai snapped himself on the banks of the River Avon as he sang the praises of an early morning dip.
Soap fans will know him as Pete, who appeared in Hollyoaks between 2015 and 2016.
But Kai's acting portfolio is much broader, boasting roles in Waterloo Road, The Syndicate, and medical soap Doctors.
He also appeared across from John Barrowman in Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood as Rhys Williams.
Kai's stint on Hollyoaks saw the writers room bring on board the advice of the NSPCC as they prepared to air Pete's controversial paedophile scenes.
The plot culminated in Cleo McQueen taking the stand in court to testify against step-father Pete and finally put him behind bars.
